Military expert: Rusk is a luring point for the occupation in Rafah, and the war’s goals have not been achieved Programs

Military and strategic expert Colonel Hatem Al-Falahi confirmed that the Shaboura area in Rafah plays a pivotal role in the Palestinian resistance strategy against the Israeli occupation forces.

He explained – during the military analysis of the war in Gaza – that the location of Al-Shaboura, as the gateway to Rafah, made it a target to lure the occupation forces, taking advantage of its narrow alleys to set up ambushes, noting that Rafah consists of several strategic areas, including Tal Al-Sultan, Al-Shaboura, Yabnah, and the eastern region.

While the occupation claims to destroy the capabilities of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and blow up some tunnels leading to Egypt, in addition to stopping the manufacture of weapons and ammunition for the resistance in Rafah, the military expert believes that the reality is completely different.

Al-Falahi stressed that the goals of the Israeli war have not yet been achieved, citing the fact that more than 120 prisoners remain in the grip of the resistance, the continued presence of Hamas’ military and political leaders, as well as Israel’s own admission of the presence of a large resistance force inside Rafah.

Al-Falahi attributed the violent and continuous bombing operations carried out by the occupation aircraft during the past days in the northern and northwestern region towards the sea to the fact that he always seeks revenge on civilians when his losses increase in the field of confrontation with the resistance.

Heading north

Regarding the future steps of the occupation, Al-Falahi expected that the Israeli forces would head towards the northern regions after announcing the end of their operations in Rafah, although they are currently focusing on controlling the Philadelphia and Netzarim axes and the buffer zone.

He also suggested that the occupation could carry out military and security operations inside the Gaza Strip if it had the necessary information.

Al-Falahi concluded by emphasizing that the battle in Gaza is still ongoing, and that the resistance continues its steadfastness despite the Israeli allegations, indicating that the coming days may witness new developments on the military scene in the Gaza Strip.
