Military and strategic expert Elias Hanna said that the Palestinian resistance operations are witnessing qualitative developments, stressing their keenness to defend Jabalia camp, which represents a “battle of life or death” for them.
Hanna explained – during the military analysis section – that the resistance recently adopted a new type of complex security operations, citing a specific operation carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), where one of its members was able to finish off an Israeli sniper and his assistant, before blowing himself up in the air. A group of occupation soldiers.
Al-Qassam had revealed the details of an operation it described as a complex security operation carried out by one of its fighters in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, which left members of an Israeli force dead and wounded.
Psychological and tactical preparation
Al-Qassam said in a statement on Friday: “A Qassam mujahideen was able to finish off a Zionist sniper and his assistant this afternoon from a distance of zero in the Jabalia camp.”
She pointed out that an hour later, “the Mujahid himself disguised himself as occupation soldiers, and was able to reach a Zionist force consisting of 6 soldiers and blow himself up with an explosive belt in the force, leaving them dead and wounded.”
Hanna pointed out that this operation was characterized by a high level of planning and implementation, as it required prior psychological and tactical preparation.
Regarding the importance of Jabalia camp, Hanna stressed that it represents the “basic center” in the resistance strategy, explaining that the occupation forces seek, by targeting it, to implement the plan to completely separate northern Gaza.
He pointed out that operations inside the camp depend on direct combat tactics, including engagement at “zero distance” and the use of cold weapons.
Regarding the morale of the resistance fighters, Hanna pointed out that they continue to carry out qualitative operations despite the passage of more than 441 days of fighting, under harsh conditions that include a shortage of water, medicine, and food.
Continuous operations
Hanna added that the latest martyrdom operation is the 805th in the history of the resistance, and the first inside Gaza since 2002.
In a related context, Hanna revealed another qualitative development, which is the resistance’s use of suicide drones, noting that the Al-Qassam Brigades published pictures of targeting the Nahal Oz military site east of Khan Yunis.
He explained that the use of drones represents “the air force for those who do not have an air force,” stressing that this development requires technical knowledge and careful preparation.
The military expert pointed out that the operations are taking place along the four axes through which the occupation army is trying to divide the Gaza Strip, which are Jabalia, Netzarim, Kissufim, and the Philadelphia axis, stressing that the resistance is continuing its operations in all of these axes.
