The Israeli army announced that it shot down a drone that took off from Lebanon over the northern town of Adamit in the Western Galilee, according to what was reported by the Times of Israel newspaper.
Commenting on these developments, the military and strategic expert, Brigadier General Hassan Jouni, said that the Lebanese Hezbollah was able to manufacture the drones and develop their functions, make them attacking and provide them with explosives so that they are able to carry out devastating air strikes against specific targets and areas.
Brigadier General Johnny said – in an analysis of the military developments in Lebanon – that the drones will introduce a significant development in the military doctrine of all countries, noting that they are widely used in the region, because they are a weapon that does not cost much, and are used by resistance groups in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon.
On Friday, the Israeli army announced the killing of two soldiers and the injury of 25, two of whom were in serious condition. Following an attack by a drone launched from Iraq towards the northern occupied Syrian Golan.
Brigadier General Johnny explained that the defense radar system is unable to detect the drones, because it was not originally designed and equipped to capture and confront them, and the warplanes cannot deal with them. He believed that the drones had a significant impact on the situation in the field during wars.
The drones are distinguished by their flexibility to move from low altitude, and are directed in an intelligent manner, as the military and strategic expert explains.
Regarding Hezbollah’s movements on more than one level, such as launching missiles and drones, direct targeting, and confronting attempts to infiltrate the occupation forces, the military and strategic expert said that the party is carrying out smart maneuvers to deter the ground operation that has not yet begun, indicating that the issue of setting targets is in terms of preference and related to the ground operation. .
He added that the Lebanese party has strength on the ground and accumulated experience in wars, and knows how to fight the Israeli army, pointing to a golden rule in military science that says “the right means in the right place, at the right time.”
He confirms that the appropriate means currently for Hezbollah are the means that obstruct the occupation army and ambush it, the most important of which are booby-traps, explosives, and mines that are placed in mandatory corridors for the Israeli army.
He said that the ability of Hezbollah members to set up ambushes and explosives for the occupation forces reflects that the party still has dynamism, flexibility, and the ability to launch missiles, despite Israeli air control over the region.
In light of the close monitoring of Israeli aircraft and drones, the military and strategic expert suggested that Hezbollah fighters were moving underground, because this allows them to exit from multiple and surprising openings of the Israeli army.
Hezbollah announced today that its fighters clashed with an Israeli infantry force as it attempted to advance towards the vicinity of the Al-Adaysah municipality building in southern Lebanon, which led to a huge explosion in the advancing Israeli force, forcing it to retreat, in addition to causing deaths and injuries among its ranks.
