The occupation of the Gaza Strip is still a strategic goal that Israel is betting on and seeking to implement it in the field by destroying the infrastructure and deepening the suffering of the population, according to military expert Ahmed Al -Sharifi, who believes that the government of Benjamin Netanyahu – wanted by the International Criminal Court – does not reveal all its goals so that it does not face a military rebellion.
In an analysis of the military scene in the Strip, Al -Sharifi stressed that Israel continues to destroy the sector in a systematic way that is in line with the partial nibbling theory away from the field reality.
The destruction of these structures aims to bulldozing the sector and create a new reality that can be built upon after any ceasefire agreement, so that it becomes difficult for the Palestinians to return to their areas.
Although Israel sends many references that support its entire direction to occupy the Strip, it will face difficulty in rushing and controlling because its army will not be able to stay without being subjected to resistance strikes, Al -Sharifi says.
The operations carried out by the resistance during the last period, some of which have affected highly fortified “wild bases”, give conclusive evidence that the Israeli forces will be a target of many attacks if they are in the sector permanently.
The Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir – during the meeting of the mini -cabinet held on Tuesday – confirmed that the goals of the war became conflicting, and that if the political level decides otherwise, he must express it explicitly as a direction.
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, Zamir was reviewing the army’s position on the possibility of expanding the military operation to the middle camps in the Gaza Strip, as it is believed that the Israeli hostages were held there.
During this meeting, the Minister of Finance, the extremist Finance in Salail Smutic, launched an attack on Zamir, and accused him of failing to eliminate the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) through the Gideon vehicles operation, which promised to control 3 quarters of the sector through it.
While the army is preparing to enter areas that have not been entered into the Strip, such as the central region, the Israeli chief of staff is still warning of the potential repercussions to completely occupy Gaza.
Avoid army rebellion
But Al -Sharif believes that there is a deliberate political obscurity of what the United States and Israel want in Gaza, and he believes that they are coordinating together without informing the field military leaders of the final goals of politicians.
Washington and Tel Aviv are seeking to confirm the field forces while avoiding anger that may reach the rebellion in the ranks of the army if he is informed of the ultimate goal that politicians want to achieve in the Strip, in the opinion of the military expert.
