Militarily.. What does the return of resistance operations indicate after the Israeli announcement of dismantling the Rafah Brigade? | News

Military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al-Falahi, said that the return of resistance operations in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, refutes the allegations of the occupation army regarding the dismantling of resistance factions in the border city with Egypt.

Al-Falahi explained – during his analysis of the military scene in the region – that the operations of the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wings of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Islamic Jihad – are a practical response to the statements of the Israeli army.

Earlier today, Al-Qassam Brigades said it carried out a complex operation in the Al-Janina neighbourhood east of Rafah, where it targeted a D9 military bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 anti-tank shell.

She pointed out that an Israeli troop carrier and a number of soldiers were targeted with a similar shell after the rescue force advanced to the same location, confirming that all members of the force were killed or wounded.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades showed scenes of targeting an Israeli Merkava 4 Baz tank with two RPG-85 shells at the Al-Awda roundabout in central Rafah.

Al-Falahi stressed that what the Israeli army is saying is not accurate, especially since the Al-Janina neighborhood witnessed a wide Israeli incursion since the first week of the Israeli military operation in Rafah.

These operations also confirm the active and influential presence of the resistance factions in the areas witnessing a large military presence of the occupation forces, especially in the eastern region of Rafah, according to the spokesman.

The military expert praised the capabilities and potential of the Palestinian resistance in contrast to the great exhaustion of the Israeli army, praising at the same time the fighting spirit and toughness of the Palestinian fighters after the Al-Quds Brigades clip showed a distance of no more than 25 meters between the Israeli tank and the Palestinian resistance.

Last Thursday, the occupation army announced the dismantling of the Rafah Brigade of the Qassam Brigades, after more than 4 months of the Israeli military operation that began on May 6, claiming that “more than 2,000 Hamas members were killed and nearly 13 kilometers of tunnels were destroyed.”
