Migrants: “Those who attempt to cross the Mediterranean inevitably find themselves in distress”

Founder of the NGO Volunteer Pilots, José Benavente is our guest on the occasion of International Migrants Day. With his NGO based on the Italian island of Lampedusa, he flies over the Mediterranean by plane to identify and save the boats of people attempting the crossing to Europe.
