Massive demonstrations in Morocco, Turkey and Pakistan demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza News

Massive demonstrations took place in Morocco, Turkey and Pakistan, today, Sunday, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and renewing the demand to stop the Israeli war of genocide against Gaza, while solidarity activists stormed a public ceremony in Melbourne, Australia, to raise the Palestinian flag.

Thousands of demonstrators marched on Mohammed V Street in the center of the Moroccan capital, Rabat, under the slogan, “Stop the war of genocide against Gaza, stop the normalization of the Moroccan state with the Zionist entity,” at the invitation of the Moroccan Front to Support Palestine and Against Normalization.

The demonstrators raised banners in Arabic and English condemning the killing of children and the destruction of hospitals and demanding an end to the Israeli occupation of the land of Palestine.

They chanted slogans praising the steadfastness of Gaza and the resisting Palestinian people, and condemning the United States, the main ally of Israel, including: “Enough of the wars, America is the enemy of the people,” and “Record, history, America is a terrorist.”

Reuters said that this march is one of the largest solidarity marches with the Palestinian people that Rabat has witnessed since the start of the war on October 7.

“The Great Gaza March”

In the Turkish capital, Ankara, thousands participated in the “Great Gaza March” in solidarity with the Palestinian people and demanding an end to the war.

The participants raised the flags of Palestine and Turkey, demanding an end to the genocide and calling for freedom for the Palestinian people. They also carried banners accusing the United States of participating in the killing of Palestinians.

Metin Mahitapoglu, spokesman for the Ankara Platform for Solidarity with Palestine, which organized the march, said in previous statements to Anadolu Agency that this movement comes in the face of the silence and inability of states, governments, and decision-makers.

He added, “We saw that the freest country in the world is Palestine, and that this country is being subjected to a murder attempt at the hands of Israel, because a world that remains silent in the face of this amount of massacres is not a free world.”

In Pakistan, crowds of demonstrators came out in the city of Karachi to express their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners demanding an end to the Israeli bombing, and others reading, “At your service, O Al-Aqsa.”

Storming a Melbourne party

On the other hand, a number of Australian activists stormed a Christmas concert in Melbourne, in order to draw attention to the suffering of the Palestinian people and demand an end to the war.

One of the supporters quickly went to the ceremony stage, where he raised the Palestinian flag, then security personnel noticed him and took him out of the venue.

For the 79th day, the Israeli army is waging a devastating war on Gaza, which as of Sunday has left 20,424 martyrs and 54,36 wounded, according to the Ministry of Health in the Strip.

Activists and political movements in the West continue to put pressure on their governments to urge them to stop supplying weapons to Israel, accusing it of complicity in genocide and war crimes against the Palestinian people.
