The Israeli army committed a massacre, most of whose victims were children and women, in the Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, and continued to bomb other areas, including the Mawasi area and the camps in the middle of the Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 9 Palestinians, including 3 children and 3 women, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, at dawn on Saturday.
The correspondent added that the martyrs and wounded were transferred to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, noting that the condition of most of them is critical.
In the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, which is also located east of Gaza City, the occupation forces bombed a house in the neighborhood early today for the second time; this resulted in the martyrdom of a woman and the injury of others, according to what was reported by Al-Aqsa satellite channel.
To the north of Gaza, three Palestinians were killed in an airstrike on Rawdat Al-Aliya in Jabalia camp, while another airstrike targeted the Al-Faluja area in the camp without causing any injuries earlier today.
In the past few days, Israeli air and artillery bombardment of Jabalia camp and other areas in the northern Gaza Strip has escalated after the Israeli army threatened to launch a new military operation under the pretext that the resistance was launching rockets from these areas.
Targeting the displaced
In the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported the death of a Palestinian and the injury of 6 others in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a tent for displaced people.
The bombing caused fires in several tents in the targeted area.
Five Palestinians were killed yesterday when Israeli tanks shelled a house in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah.
The Mawasi extends 12 kilometers along the coast from west of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip to the governorates of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south, and has witnessed repeated massacres in recent weeks.
In Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, the occupation forces also blew up residential blocks west of the city, according to what was reported by Al-Aqsa TV.
In the central Gaza Strip, two Palestinians, one of whom was a woman, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house northwest of the Nuseirat camp.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the raid resulted in the injury of a number of children, and the injured were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital.
Israeli artillery also shelled the surroundings of the Nuseirat and Bureij camps.
The death toll from the aggression on Gaza exceeded 41,000 martyrs and 95,000 wounded, while Palestinian estimates indicate that there are about 10,000 martyrs under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
