An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 7 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a school housing displaced persons in Gaza City at dawn on Tuesday.
The reporter said that Israeli warplanes bombed Al-Shujaiya School, which houses hundreds of displaced people in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
For his part, Palestinian Civil Defense spokesman in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, said in a statement that two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in the Israeli bombing of Al-Shujaiya School.
Earlier, medical sources at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City reported that the bombing led to the death of 6 Palestinians and the wounding of others, some of them seriously, before the death toll rose.
185 centers
After this targeting, the number of displacement and shelter centers targeted by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year rose to 185, according to data from the government media office.
Earlier, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 14 Palestinians were martyred and others injured in an air strike that targeted a house west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
With American support, since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has left more than 137,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
In disdain for the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
