A young Palestinian man was martyred and others were injured by Israeli occupation army bullets in areas of the West Bank, while the occupation forces continue to raid and storm homes and arrest dozens.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a young Palestinian man who was critically injured by live bullets fired at him by the Israeli occupation army at the entrance to Al-Fawwar camp, south of Hebron in the West Bank.
The occupation forces stationed at the entrance to the camp fired heavy bullets at the young man, Muhammad Hussein Ismail Masalmeh, inside his vehicle at the entrance to the camp, leaving him bleeding, claiming that he had run over and injured two Israeli soldiers. Thus, the number of martyrs in the West Bank has risen to 317 since the seventh of last October.
4 other young men were injured by live bullets during the confrontations that broke out after the occupation forces stormed the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested 14 Palestinians from the Jalazoun camp, north of Ramallah, during a raid campaign before withdrawing and releasing a number of them later.
Israeli forces on foot stormed several homes in the camp, beat some of its residents, confiscated several vehicles, and arrested those they described as wanted.

Demolishing the homes of martyrs
The Israeli occupation forces were also notified of the demolition of the homes of the families of 3 martyrs who were killed by occupation bullets at the tunnel checkpoint west of the city of Beit Jala, in the Bethlehem Governorate, last month.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the homes of the families of the three martyrs, Abd al-Qadir al-Qawasmi, Nasrallah al-Qawasmi, and Hassan Qafisha, smashed their doors, and informed the families of the demolition in the coming days.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces took measurements of the three houses on the same day of their martyrdom, in preparation for their demolition.
In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces assaulted and beat a young man while storming a village, and arrested another from the town of Beita.
The director of the Al-Hilal Ambulance and Emergency Center in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, said that a young man (24 years old) was taken to the hospital to receive treatment, after he was beaten by the occupation forces.
Local sources explained that the occupation forces arrested the young man, Jihad Ayman Dweikat, after they raided and searched his family’s house in the town of Beita in the south.
These forces had stormed the villages of Rujib and Salem, raided several homes, and tampered with their contents.
Arrests continue
Meanwhile, the Authority for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs (official) and the Palestinian Prisoners Club (non-governmental) said today, Saturday, that the number of detainees in the West Bank has risen to 4,860 since October 7, after the Israeli army arrested 14 Palestinians within hours last Friday evening. Until this morning.
The statement stated that the recent arrests were concentrated in the Jalazoun camp in the city of Ramallah, where the occupation continued to detain 7 citizens, after a field investigation with a group of them, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Nablus (north) and Hebron (south).
According to the Commission and the Club, the occupation forces continue to carry out widespread raids and abuse during arrest campaigns, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes, and confiscation of vehicles.
They explained that the data related to arrest cases includes those who were kept in detention by the occupation, or those who were later released.
As of last November 30, the number of prisoners inside prisons was estimated at approximately 7,800, including 2,870 administrative detainees.
Administrative detention is a detention decision by Israeli military order on the grounds of a security threat, without an indictment, and it extends to 6 months, which can be extended.
Since October 7, the Israeli army has intensified its raids and incursions into villages and towns in the West Bank and Jerusalem, coinciding with a devastating and ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.
