Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two Palestinians were killed and injured in Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday, including a school housing displaced people.

The correspondent said that a number of martyrs and wounded fell in raids targeting a residential apartment in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

In the Al-Nasr area, west of Gaza City, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two Palestinians, including children, were killed as a result of an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house in the area.

In the south, at least 5 people were killed and 10 others, including children, were injured in a shelling of an apartment in the center of Khan Younis. The martyrs and injured were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the city.

To the north, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 4 Palestinians were killed and 15 others were injured in a bombing of the tents of the displaced at Halima al-Sa’diya School in Jabalia al-Nazla.

For his part, the spokesman for the Civil Defense Authority in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, said, “The targeted place is a tent sheltering displaced people inside the walls of Halima Al-Sadia School.”

In contrast, the Israeli army – through its spokesman, Avichay Adraee – admitted to bombing the school, claiming that it was being used by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

The occupation army had previously bombed schools housing displaced persons under the pretext that they were being used by the resistance, which resulted in the martyrdom of a large number of civilians and led to a wave of international and UN condemnations.

With American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 135,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine.
