A Palestinian boy was killed and three young men were injured in an attack by the occupation forces in Tulkarm and Hebron in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli army also re-besieged Tulkarm hospitals, while its forces were deployed in areas surrounding the camp, as the occupation’s aggression on the region continues for the seventh consecutive day.
Medical sources confirmed the death of a Palestinian boy and the injury of his father by Israeli occupation army bullets at dawn on Tuesday in Tulkarm camp.
While the Red Crescent reported that another Palestinian was injured after the occupation forces assaulted him during a raid on a village in Tulkarm, and confirmed that another was injured by the occupation forces’ bullets during a raid on the city of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.
On the ground, the Al-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm Battalion confirmed that its fighters are confronting the occupation forces storming the city of Tulkarm with bullets and explosive devices.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that occupation vehicles, accompanied by two heavy bulldozers, stormed Tulkarm from its western entrance after withdrawing at dawn from the city camp, and imposed a tight siege on it.
She pointed out that the occupation forces imposed a curfew on Tulkarm camp, and prevented citizens from entering or leaving it, until further notice.
For his part, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent confirmed that the occupation forces stormed the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron.
In Jenin, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation army sent large military reinforcements and troop carriers to the city’s camp, and assaulted paramedics and an injured person near Ibn Sina Hospital.
Attack on university
In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the campus of Birzeit University at dawn today, wreaked havoc on the student movement’s property, and seized many properties and publications related to student activities.
The occupation soldiers also posted intimidating leaflets on the students, calling on them not to participate in student activities, and threatening to destroy their future.
For its part, the Birzeit University administration condemned the occupation forces’ storming of its campus, stressing that this constitutes a major violation of all international norms and covenants that criminalize the violation of the sanctity of universities and educational institutions.
The Israeli aggression on the West Bank since last Wednesday has resulted in the martyrdom of 31 Palestinians, including 18 in Jenin, 6 in Tulkarm, 4 in Tubas, and 3 in Hebron, bringing the death toll in the West Bank since October 7 to 683.
