Majorca: four people killed in bar collapse

Four people died and dozens of others were injured in this accident which took place in Palma de Mallorca.

Emergency services had to intervene throughout the night to rescue victims trapped in the rubble.

According to police, two German women, a Spanish woman and a Senegalese man were killed in the accident.

According to the fire chief, the entire first floor, and in particular a visibly overloaded terrace, collapsed onto the ground floor.

The Medusa Beach Club, located in Playa de Palma, is one of the city’s popular places for the many tourists who visit Majorca.
