Military and strategic expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi confirmed – in his daily analysis on Tel Aviv Tribune – that the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip is still capable of managing its battle effectively, and has more patience than the Israeli occupation army.
Al-Duwairi said that what is taking place in the center and south of the Gaza Strip are “bone-breaking” battles, and whoever wins them will decide the battle and force the other side to submit to its conditions. He reiterated that the occupation army did not achieve the goals it set, and the only thing it accomplished “skillfully and with great ability” was the systematic destruction and bombing of hospitals. And schools.
He spoke about the confusion faced by the occupation army, saying that it was asking the residents of the northern section of the Gaza Strip to leave for the central and southern regions, and the plan was to create a buffer zone from the Gaza Valley to the north, approximately 120 square kilometers.
However, the occupation army began to withdraw from the areas it entered due to its inability to continue, as the military analyst pointed out.
After that, Israeli calls began for the Palestinians to head to Deir al-Balah (central), then Khan Yunis (south), then Rafah (south), and now into Sinai. Al-Duwairi stressed that the Palestinians will not leave their land, “and the olive tree will not belong more to the soil of Palestine than the son of Palestine.”
Commenting on the news of the Israeli soldier returning from Gaza who opened fire and wounded his comrades, Al-Duwairi said that the matter is not surprising, as two weeks ago the Israelis themselves revealed that 7% of the army members who participated in the attack on Gaza suffer from psychological disorders, and their number may now range from Between 10 and 12%.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that a soldier from the Paratroopers Brigade returning from Gaza opened fire – after waking up from a nightmare – and wounded his comrades. She explained that the soldier’s incident was referred for investigation by the Ministry of Defense, and it was decided not to investigate him due to his health condition.
