Maduro: The Palestinians have been subjected to genocide for 75 years News

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the Palestinian people have been subjected to “genocide” for more than 75 years, and described the situation as a Holocaust and similar to the Holocaust that the Jewish people were subjected to during the rule of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.

In statements to the Mexican newspaper La Jornada, Maduro criticized the international community and European countries for their silence regarding the devastating war that Israel has been waging on the Gaza Strip for 3 months and the killing and bombing of Palestinians.

He added that there is no doubt that the events in Palestine constitute genocide, and called for the need for international courts to take action to stop what the Palestinians are being subjected to, pointing out the brutality of what the Palestinian people were subjected to before the eyes and ears of the world.

He also stated that due to recent events in Palestine, Christmas was not celebrated in the birthplace of the Prophet Jesus – peace and blessings be upon him – in the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Since the “Al-Aqsa Flood”, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which, as of yesterday, Tuesday, resulted in the death of 22,185 Palestinians and the injury of 57,035 individuals, most of them children and women. This war also caused massive destruction of infrastructure and left an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, according to Palestinian and international reports.
