The day after the legislative victory of the ruling party, pro-Russian and anti-European, the Georgian president and the opposition did not take off.

Salomé Zourabichvili, who calls on the population to demonstrate, denounces falsification of the vote and interference from Moscow.

“We have been witnesses and victims of what cannot be described as a Russian special operation, a new form of hybrid warfare waged against our people and our country”declared the president of Georgia.

“If we have to fight for a European future, if we have to take to the streets, come together, stick together, we will do our best. We will not give up,” said Elene Khoshtaria, a member of the opposition.

Faced with an electoral process marred by irregularities, according to observers, Washington and Brussels are calling for an investigation.
