The Lebanese government is scheduled to hold a meeting today, Thursday, to discuss the American paper submitted by the delegate Tom Barak regarding the agreement to stop hostilities between Lebanon and Israel.
On Tuesday, the Lebanese government decided to assign the Lebanese army to develop a plan to restrict arms in the hands of the state before the end of this year, and to present it to the cabinet before the end of this month.
The Lebanese Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, said in an interview with Al -Jazeera that the American paper will be subject to scrutiny and that the government has the right to amend it, and added that it is possible for the army to raise proposals to enable him to implement the applied plan to limit weapons in the hands of the state.

On the other hand, Hezbollah said that the government’s decision to assign the army to develop a plan to restrict weapons before the end of the year is a major sin.
