In an impressive statement, the British monarch, King Charles III, expressed his optimism about his progress in treating cancer, noting that he believed that he was “on the best” of his journey with the disease. During an official visit to the city of Bradford on May 15, King Charles, accompanied by Queen Camilla, met with Safina Khan, a flower seller who recovered from cancer.
The flower seller spoke to Charles when he visited the “Empact Hep Yorkshire” center to meet local business owners who support various societies in Bradford, and provided the king a flower bouquet inspired by his garden in Haygar.
After talking to Charles, Khan said, “He asked me about my current, and I asked him about his condition. We exchanged some compliments in the end, but the conversation was fun.”
