The Israeli bombing intensified around the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday, as the Ministry of Health in the Strip warned of the seriousness of the situation. The occupation also bombed tents for the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area, which it had claimed was safe.
With the occupation army announcing today the encirclement of the city of Khan Yunis, its forces are trying to advance west of the city in the vicinity of Al Amal Hospital and the Red Crescent headquarters, all the way to the Nasser Medical Complex, while dozens of martyrs and wounded fell as a result of the intense bombing.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent confirmed that the occupation forces opened fire on one of the buildings of the Nasser Complex from the western side, resulting in shrapnel falling on the hospital crowded with wounded and displaced people.
For its part, the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned that falling shrapnel on hospital buildings endangered the lives of patients, medical staff, and displaced persons.
She added that the occupation is placing Nasser Medical Complex and Al-Amal Hospital affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent in Khan Yunis in imminent danger.

Disastrous situation
For his part, Ministry of Health spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra told Tel Aviv Tribune that the situation inside the Nasser Complex and Al-Amal Hospital is “very complex and catastrophic.”
He explained that there is currently no possibility for ambulances to enter the complex and the hospital, and pointed out that the intensity of the fire prevents the transfer of the wounded from the Nasser complex to the Jordanian field hospital.
At the same time, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that roads leading to Al-Amal Hospital were closed due to continuous shooting by the occupation forces, and confirmed that ambulances were trying to open alternative corridors to facilitate movement to the hospital.
Targeting the tents of displaced people
On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation army targeted the tents of the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area, south of Khan Yunis, to which it had called on citizens to flee.
He added that the occupation forces are also still shooting at the roads leading to Al-Rashid Street from Khan Yunis, which threatens the displaced.
Clashes are currently taking place between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces in the Al-Mawasi area, the vicinity of Al-Aqsa University, the Al-Amal neighborhood, and the Al-Maskar area.
For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that one of its largest shelters in Khan Yunis was bombed yesterday, Monday, leading to the death of 6 displaced people and the injury of a larger number during the fighting in its vicinity.
The agency reported that its employees, patients and displaced persons are trapped inside the few remaining hospitals in Khan Yunis.
Today, Israel is waging 109 devastating wars on Gaza, which led to the death of 25,490 Palestinians and the injury of 63,354 others, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, which says that most of the victims are children and women.
