Leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Khalil Al-Hayya, stressed Hamas’ firm position in the face of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, saying, “There will be no security or stability in the region unless the Palestinian people take their full rights.”

In his speech on the eve of the one-year anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, Al-Hayya stressed that what the Palestinian resistance rejected yesterday will not be accepted today, and added, “What the occupation failed to impose by force will not be taken to the negotiating table.”

The Hamas leader stressed that the “Al-Aqsa flood” brought the Palestinian issue back to the forefront of global attention, and said, “We can say today with confidence that the Palestinian issue has become the first in the world.”

He stressed that the battle of October 7, 2023 “shattered the illusions that the enemy had drawn for itself” and demonstrated “the abject failure of the various components of its military and security system.” He went on to confirm that the resistance was able, within a few hours, to “bring the occupying entity to its knees and neutralize its most important army divisions.”

Continued resistance

The Hamas leader praised the steadfastness of the people of the Gaza Strip in the face of “the harshest war of genocide,” despite their exposure to “daily massacres.” He also sent a special greeting to the people of Gaza in various regions of the Strip, saying, “The greatest manifestation of the meanings of pride, patience, and sacrifice was a characteristic of you.”

Regarding the situation in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, Al-Hayya pointed out the continued resistance there despite “the settlement that is tearing apart its cities, villages and camps.”

He also praised the operations carried out by the resistance in the cities of the West Bank and within the Green Line, considering them “the way to confront the constant danger to our people and our cause.”

At the regional level, the Hamas leader confirmed that the Al-Aqsa flood revived “the spirit of jihad in the nation and restored its compass toward the real enemy.”

Al-Hayya praised the role of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthi group in Yemen, and the factions in Iraq, considering that their participation in the battle represented “a real shift in the nature of the battle.”

Hamas’ readiness

Regarding the negotiations and ceasefire efforts, Al-Hayya affirmed that Hamas made every effort to stop the aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, noting that Hamas participated in a number of rounds of negotiations with Qatari and Egyptian mediation, but he accused the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “procrastination and obstruction.” At every station.

Al-Hayya affirmed Hamas’ readiness to reach an agreement that would achieve “a complete and permanent cessation of aggression and a complete and comprehensive withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, with reconstruction, ending the siege, and reaching a prisoner exchange deal,” stressing Hamas’s welcome to the implementation of Security Council Resolution No. 2735 regarding stopping the aggression.

Referring to international legal developments, Al-Hayya pointed out that “for the first time in the history of the conflict since 1948, the enemy stands before international courts as a war criminal accused of genocide,” and he considered that this development had “removed the masks from the faces of the occupation leaders and showed the world the nature of (this) entity.” “The real one.”

Al-Hayya reiterated the importance of Palestinian national unity, considering it “the only path and the great rock upon which the occupation’s conspiracies will be shattered.” He also affirmed Hamas’ commitment to working on the reconstruction of Gaza “with the help of its sons and the support of its brothers.”

National unity

The Hamas leader saluted the Palestinian resistance factions, especially the Islamic Jihad Movement and the Popular Front, stressing the importance of unity in confronting the “devious enemy’s plans.”

He added, “Palestinian national unity based on the constants of the Palestinian people and behind the option of resistance is the only way.”

Al-Hayya sent a message to the international community, warning it that “continuing to turn a blind eye to the crimes of the occupation and allowing the right-wing government to continue the genocidal war against our people and against our brothers in Lebanon means one thing, which is unleashing the law of the jungle.”
