Oman- The appearance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a video from inside a huge tunnel dug by the occupation authorities under the Al -Aqsa Mosque, caused Jordanian anger, as thousands participated today, Friday, with a massive mass march that started from the Al -Hussein Mosque in the center of the capital, Amman, under the slogan “Gaza is ran and hungry … and Al -Aqsa is in danger.”
Participants in the march – which was called by the “Islamic Action Front” and “National Forum to support the resistance and protecting the homeland” – chanted slogans that expressed the rejection of the settlers ’storming and desecration of the Al -Aqsa courtyards under the auspices of the occupation government, calling for standing in the face of the imminent danger that threatens the blessed mosque with the continued calls of Israeli extremists to destroy it and build the temple on its ruins.
The protesters – who carried the Jordanian and Palestinian flags – affirmed their standing with the people of the Gaza Strip, who are exposed to the worst wars of starvation and genocide throughout history, declaring their bias to the legitimate rights of the Palestinians to establish their independent state and stop the Israeli war on Gaza.
They also called on the Jordanian government to cut ties with the occupying state, and to cancel the “Wadi Araba Convention” for peace, and all treaties with the Israeli side, on top of which is the energy agreement.
Accounting of occupation leaders
Participants in the march held banners calling for the accounting of the Israeli government -especially Netanyahu, Bin Ghafir and Smotrich as war criminals who must be brought to justice and tried before the International Criminal Court, stressing that the resistance in Gaza, the West Bank and Rabat in the Al -Aqsa Mosque is enough that all Israeli occupation plans fail to Judaize Jerusalem and impose Israeli control over it.
The Islamic Action Front Party also denounced the decision of the occupation government to establish 22 new settlements in the West Bank, especially in the Jordan Valley area along the border with Jordan, as part of the occupation plan to include the Jordan Valley and the West Bank, liquidating the Palestinian issue and implementing the displacement plan, which constitutes a flagrant threat against Jordan, its national security and its supreme interests.
In turn, the Secretary -General of the National Constitutional Party, Dr. Ahmed Al -Shanak, said that the “religiously extremist” occupation government practices genocide and massacres against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, pointing out – in his talk to Al -Jazeera Net – that the Israeli practices “stem from a perverted Talmudic doctrine, in addition to the goals of the Israeli enemy announced that the Palestinians are displaced within the strategic plans of the occupation to be a Jewish state Sincerely.
On the emergence of Netanyahu by recording a video below the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque, Al -Shanj said, “For the first time, we see the Israeli Prime Minister appear at the bottom of the Al -Aqsa Mosque, which means a message of challenge to the Arab and Islamic nation.”
Al -Shannaq said that Netanyahu and the settlers are practicing their religious rituals inside the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque, and this represents the desecration of the first two kisses, “But the Netanyahu government, with its extermination, massacres, and starvation in the Gaza Strip, and incursions to the Al -Aqsa Mosque, have become ostracized at all levels.”
He asked, “Where will these Israeli practices and violations take us towards the Al -Aqsa Mosque? Will the region take into religious wars?” He called on the Arab countries and the Arab leaders to be ready, and to respond to the unprecedented international position towards the occupying state by talking about imposing sanctions on extremist settlers.
Al -Shannaq concluded his speech by emphasizing that “the Palestinian issue is going through a historical moment, and the Arab leaders should pick up this moment in a way that serves the people in Palestine, in order to obtain their legitimate rights.”
“Challenge Message”
For his part, the Jordanian parliamentary, Muhammad Aqel, considered what Netanyahu did “an unprecedented challenge message in the history of the attacks – the past days – at the Al -Aqsa Mosque, through the storming of Bin Ghaffir and the Zionist extremists of the Al -Aqsa Mosque, in what is known as the march of raising flags.”
Aqel said – in his interview with Al -Jazeera Net – that the Israeli violations and media statements of Netanyahu from inside a tunnel below the Al -Aqsa Mosque carrying harsh messages to the Arab and Islamic nation were enough in previous times to fully ignite the region.
He added, “Unfortunately, the Arab reaction is faded, whether from the official or popular frameworks, while such a matter was collapsed by the official frameworks in the Arab world at the highest level in the past and with firm positions towards what is going on. He called for” popular anger everywhere “because what is happening in Palestine, whether in Gaza or Al -Aqsa Mosque, represents the peak of Israeli violations.
In his video, the Israeli Prime Minister appeared from inside a tunnel at the bottom of the Al -Aqsa Mosque – on Monday – to confirm that “Jerusalem will remain the eternal capital of Israel”, pledging to call for international recognition and transfer of embassies to it.
Netanyahu’s visit to the honorable mosque coincided with the 58th anniversary of the occupation of the eastern Jerusalem in the 1967 war, which the occupation calls “the day of unification of Jerusalem”, where the holy Palestinian city witnessed an unprecedented escalation by the settlers with the protection of the occupation forces, which included a wide storming of the Al -Aqsa Mosque, in addition to the “march of flags” that were punctuated by racist chants such as “death for the Arabs.”
For their part, observers considered that the Israeli official step is not a coincidence, but rather a deliberate symbolic message, aimed at consolidating Israeli control over what is above the land and under it in Jerusalem and Al -Aqsa Mosque.
