Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished Palestinian facilities in the occupied city of Jerusalem and forced two citizens to demolish their homes, while dozens of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Jerusalem Governorate said in a daily report that two Jerusalemites had their homes forcibly demolished after persecution by the occupation authorities.
She stated that “the occupation forced Habib Al-Ramlawi to forcibly demolish his house,” noting that the house is located in the town of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, and was built 15 years ago.
She noted that the house has an area of 80 square metres, and is inhabited by 5 people, including children. She added, “The occupation municipality forced Jerusalemite citizen Shadi Samreen to demolish his house, in the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the pretext of not having a building permit.”
She pointed out that a third citizen was handed over, yesterday evening, Tuesday, a decision to demolish his house in the town of Jabal Mukaber in occupied Jerusalem.
The occupation authorities also demolished a vehicle maintenance workshop and a sheep barn, and bulldozed a street in the town of Mikhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to the governorate.

Regarding the raids, it was reported that the occupation forces stormed several areas in Jerusalem, including the towns of Al-Ram and Hizma, north and northeast of the city, and several neighborhoods in the town of Silwan and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
According to Jerusalem Governorate data, the occupation authorities carried out 439 demolition operations in Jerusalem since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 until the end of 2024.
Most demolitions in Jerusalem are carried out under the pretext of building without a permit. According to United Nations reports, “the restrictive and discriminatory planning system makes it almost impossible for Palestinians in Jerusalem to obtain the building permits required by Israel.”
Regarding the raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Jerusalem Governorate said that 191 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in two periods: morning and evening, “under heavy guard by the Israeli occupation forces.”
