Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Italy on Saturday.
Tens of thousands of people marched in several Italian cities on Saturday to call for peace in Gaza and Ukraine.
In Rome, a giant flag in the colors of peace was unfurled in front of the Colosseum. 10,000 people gathered in the capital.
The demonstration was organized by several center-left opposition parties, by unions, and by organizations that defend disarmament or take care of war doctors.
Protesters condemned the high number of civilians killed in the wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
They urge the Italian government and the international community to relaunch a peace conference under the auspices of the United Nations.
