Israelis attack Netanyahu for insisting on staying in Philadelphi corridor | News

Why did he insist on the Philadelphi Corridor? With this question, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu titled the video he posted on his X account for the conference he presented yesterday, Monday, in order to clarify his insistence on remaining on this border corridor between Gaza and Egypt.

Netanyahu’s conference coincided with the publication by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, of a letter from a slain female prisoner who was among six detained prisoners whose bodies were recovered by the occupation army last Saturday from a tunnel in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, which sparked a wave of anger and resentment among his followers who launched a sharp attack on him.

Israeli blogger Hagit Klayman responded to Netanyahu’s question by saying, “If the Philadelphi corridor is an existential threat, why weren’t we there from the first day of the war?! Why didn’t you give the order to the army?! Or is it the political echelon that dictates the instructions, just as you are now giving priority to the Philadelphi corridor over the lives of the kidnapped. Here is Eden Yerushalmi, whom we could have saved before she was killed! Don’t be ashamed!”

She attached her response with a video of the Israeli prisoner before she was killed, attacking Netanyahu.

As for Itzik Elrov, he responded to the Prime Minister by saying, “The answer is easy because you prefer the political considerations of keeping Smotrich and Ben Gvir in the government over returning the kidnapped soldiers to their homes? I was not really happy with your support.”

Israeli Baruch Sharon responded to Netanyahu’s proposal by saying, “Because you are mentally ill and obsessed and do not want to end the war and return the kidnapped soldiers alive. Rather, you want to remain on your throne as long as possible and escape the investigation committee and the criminal justice system.”

Gil Feldman commented on Netanyahu’s tweet, saying: “To blow up the deal and keep your government intact.”
