Israeli Podcast Hopes to Push Button to Exterminate Palestinians | News

An episode of the Israeli podcast “Too Nice Jewish Boys” has sparked a wave of comments after the podcast’s hosts announced they would “push a button” to eliminate all Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

The controversial episode has drawn condemnation on social media, with comparisons to radio programmes in Rwanda that incited the 1994 genocide carried out by ethnic Hutu extremists over 100 bloody days, during which more than 800,000 men, women and children, mostly Tutsis, were killed.

In addition to calling for the Israeli podcast to eliminate 5 million Palestinians, he called for the annexation of Gaza and the West Bank, rejected aid efforts such as polio vaccination, and questioned why Israel was so concerned about the health of children in Gaza, he claimed.

Despite the backlash and criticism over the podcast episode, presenters Naor Menninger and Eitan Weinstein have defended their position, claiming that their views reflect prevailing Israeli sentiment, and that Israelis are indifferent to the deaths in Gaza and prefer all-out war, according to the British website Middle East Eye.

Since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, the occupation media has been waging a war of its own, to the point of abandoning professional standards to serve the Israeli authority and army through… Various forms, including incitement to kill Palestinians and the search for what he sees as an Israeli consensus that was eager to avenge the “disastrous defeat” Israel suffered on October 7.

It was not limited to media voices only, but leaders and officials were also at the forefront of the scene, including Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Ben Eliyahu, who said at the beginning of this year that Israel must “find ways more painful than death” for the Palestinians in order to settle the battle, defeat them, and break their morale, as “the United States did with Japan.”

The same minister also said late last year that dropping a nuclear bomb on Gaza was a possible solution, adding that the Gaza Strip should not remain on the face of the earth, and that Israel should re-establish settlements there.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that the Israeli security establishment is determined to hold accountable those he called “human animals” who worked against Israelis.

This comes at a time when the occupation army is escalating its military campaign in the cities of the West Bank, in parallel with its war on Gaza since October 7, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing amid a humanitarian situation described as catastrophic and a worsening famine looming over the besieged Strip.
