An Israeli news website revealed a new tally of Israeli dead and wounded in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip last October.

Walla website said that since the beginning of the war, 4,973 operations have taken place against occupation soldiers and settlers, during which 38 Israelis were killed – including 12 soldiers and 3 policemen – and 285 others were injured.

About two weeks ago, the occupation forces began a large-scale operation in the northern West Bank under the pretext of dismantling resistance cells. Since then, resistance fighters have been confronting them with explosive devices and bullets, killing and wounding a number of its soldiers.

A week ago, 3 Israeli officers were killed in a shooting operation at the Tarqumiya crossing, southwest of Hebron, in the southern West Bank. Other soldiers were also killed and wounded in resistance operations in the Jenin camp.

In parallel with its war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, the occupation army expanded its operations and the settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of 692 Palestinians and the injury of about 5,700.
