Israeli leaks: An agreement with the Palestinian Authority to dismantle resistance bombs news

|

Israeli Channel 12 said that there is an agreement between the Palestinian Authority and the occupation to deploy 500 security personnel affiliated with the Authority in the northern West Bank, to dismantle the bombs prepared by the resistance fighters to target the occupation during incursions.

This comes amid growing resistance activity in the occupied West Bank, where the occupation carries out daily raids and arrests against the Palestinian population.

Earlier, Hamas called on the Palestinian Authority to stop what it called suspicious behavior, and called on it to push members of the security services to engage in confronting the Israeli occupation instead of pursuing the resistance fighters.

Hamas said, “We call on the leadership of the Authority to stop the suspicious and unacceptable behavior and work to push the security services to engage in the resistance.”

The movement added, “The continuation of the authority’s apparatus in the West Bank to pursue the resistance fighters is in complete agreement with the occupation and participation in the aggression against our people.”

On a daily basis, the occupation forces carry out attacks in West Bank cities, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of martyrs since October 7, 2023.

Hamas said that the Palestinian Authority’s continued pursuit of resistance members, confiscating their weapons, and detecting and dismantling IEDs is in harmony with the occupation.

The Authority’s leadership called for an end to the “security services’ hegemony over the Palestinian people and their resistance, and to support efforts to achieve unity.”
