Israeli figures: 12,000 soldiers were injured during the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon news

Figures for the Rehabilitation Department of the Israeli occupation army revealed that 12,000 soldiers have received treatment in its units since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip and then on Lebanon, two-thirds of whom are reserve forces, which is much higher than the official figures published by the Israeli army.

The Rehabilitation Department expected that the disabled in the Israeli army would rise to one hundred thousand by 2030 to one hundred thousand.

Figures published by the Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” show that 500 soldiers register themselves with this administration every month to receive treatment. It also shows that 43% of the wounded received treatment for psychological trauma they suffered due to the war, and that about 1,500 of the wounded were wounded twice in battle.

These numbers are approximately two and a half times higher than the number of infections published by the Israeli occupation army on its website.

In its latest statistics on its website today, the Israeli army indicated 772 dead and 5,184 wounded since the beginning of the aggression, but it only spoke about about 300 soldiers currently being treated in hospitals.

It is noted from the official Israeli army figures that they do not address the number of psychological injuries, although in practice they often neutralize the injured person and prevent him from rejoining his unit, or at least reduce his combat effectiveness.

Since October 8, 2023, the Israeli army, with American support, has launched a massive aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of about 43,000 Palestinians, not to mention more than 100,000 wounded and about ten thousand missing. The aggression expanded last month in Lebanon, where it led to About 2,800 were killed and 13,000 injured.
