Under the proposal, the displacement of the Palestinians of Gaza will be under the control of the Ministry of Defense.
Israel should establish a government agency that would supervise the “voluntary departure” of the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
A spokesperson for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Monday that the agency was under construction following the approval of the Israeli security firm by the weekend.
This decision follows the suggestions of US President Donald Trump that Gaza residents should be transferred to other countries, which have declared that rights defending rights and criticisms around the world were ethnic, the forced withdrawal of a population from his home.
The security firm would have approved the proposal of the Minister of Defense Israel Katz to create the agency on Saturday.
The spokesperson confirmed that an authority responsible for “preparing the voluntary departure of residents of the Gaza Strip in third countries in a safe and controlled manner” has been established.
This will see the emigration administration under the control of the Ministry of Defense, she said.
People wishing to leave the sealed Gaza Strip should be allowed to do so “in accordance with Israeli and international law and in accordance with the vision of US President Donald Trump,” said Netanyahu spokesperson.
Middle East ‘Riviera’
The Israeli nationalists have long been looking for the expulsion of the Palestinians of Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
They pushed the idea more in -depth in the middle of the war with Hamas, while the Israeli government was accused by civil organizations of having hampered humanitarian aid in the enclave in order to encourage people to leave.
Trump described his plan for an American “takeover” of Gaza and the resettlement of more than two million Palestinians in other countries – Egypt and Jordan – last month. He said he wanted to convert the Palestinian territory torn apart by the “Riviera” war of the Middle East.
The suggestion has triggered generalized international indignation, incurring vehement objections of Palestinians, Arab negotiators and many other nations around the world.
The Netanyahu spokesperson did not specify which third countries could be willing to cooperate with Israel in the implementation of the plan.
Netanyahu previously declared that he was “engaged” in Trump’s plan “for the creation of a different Gaza” while promising only after the war, “there will be neither Hamas nor the Palestinian authority” which led the territory.
Katz had asked soldiers in February to write plans to implement Trump’s proposal for the resettlement of Gaza Palestinians.
The Israeli Peace Movement has now condemned the move, calling it “indelible coloring on Israel” in a post on X in English.
“When life in a certain place is made impossible by bombing and sits, there is nothing” voluntary “about the people who leave,” wrote the organization.
There was no immediate reaction from Egypt and other Arab countries to confirm the plan.
However, they have insisted on a “two -state solution” on the conflict and “the need to establish an independent Palestinian state” however.
