Israeli analysts: Hamas has regained its strength and failure to leave Gaza means a war without end news

Israeli media focused on the confrontations that took place between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday. She described it as difficult, and said that not withdrawing from the Gaza Strip would mean continuing the war forever.

Channel 14 quoted a senior field officer as saying that the tactic of raids has become exhausted, and that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has strengthened its strength and is launching greater attacks than ever before.

Resistance attacks have escalated significantly in northern Gaza despite the widespread destruction, which means the need to change the current approach, for which “Israel is paying in blood,” as the officer says.

While soldiers are falling in battle, the political effort required to complete military action is still lacking, which means that the situation in Gaza will remain as it is forever, in the opinion of Nir Dvori, military affairs correspondent for Channel 12.

The resistance resumed producing its weapons

Despite the ongoing fighting for 15 months, the resistance is still carrying out operations and launching rockets towards Israel, says Dvori, something confirmed by the political affairs correspondent for the same channel, Almog Bakir.

According to Bakir, the resistance is not emptying its stores of missiles as some claim, but has resumed producing its means of combat locally – including missiles – but not in large quantities as it was before the war.

Given the previous data, the continuation of the war reflects what the former advisor to Defense Minister Barak Serry considered “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s madness and his partisan goals,” which make him refuse to talk about the day after the war before eliminating Hamas.

Serry said that failure to stop the war, recover the prisoners, and withdraw from the Gaza Strip “means that Israel will continue to revolve in a closed circle, because eliminating the last Hamas fighter will require many years.”

Army data indicate that 828 soldiers and officers have been killed since the start of the war, something that Eitan Kappel – a former member of the Knesset for the Labor Party – says requires the political leadership to find a solution instead of seeking to implicate the army and hold it responsible.

Increasing danger in the West Bank

Regarding the escalation of operations in the West Bank, Kan’s military affairs correspondent, Roi Sharon, said that the operation that took place on Monday reflects the danger that has been increasing in the West Bank for a year.

The operation that took place in the Kedumim settlement left 3 dead and others seriously injured. It was carried out by trained people who came from the northern West Bank to a nearby area where Israelis travel frequently, according to Sharon.

Sharon said that the operations in the West Bank are not large in number, but they are more dangerous, and led to the death of 73 Israelis during 2024.

On Monday, Netanyahu discussed with the chiefs of staff and the Shin Bet about escalating security operations in the West Bank, but they did not find a way to prevent the next attack, according to Sharon.
