The Israeli military censorship issued instructions regarding media coverage of the war on Gaza, prohibiting the media from covering, publishing, or dealing with 8 issues without obtaining prior approval from the military censor.
The memorandum, which was circulated by the military censorship to all media outlets, prohibits the publication of any personal information about the detainees, their health status, or any Israeli positions related to the negotiations aimed at their release.
The decision also prohibits the publication of any details about Israeli military and intelligence operations and missile attacks that hit sensitive sites in Israel.
It is also prohibited to provide information related to the visit of senior military officials to the battlefield, and related to weapons systems and equipment used by the Israeli army.
The decision also prohibits the broadcast of any reports that include details or information about government meetings, stipulating that all materials that include that information must be submitted for censorship before being broadcast.
