Israel says he attacked Houthi targets in the port of Hodeidah of Yemen | Houthis News

Houthis promises more attacks unless Israel ends his offensive on Gaza and lifts the seat.

The Israeli army has launched new air raids on the port of Hodeidah in Yemen, targeting what it has described as sites related to Houthi used to organize drone and missile attacks against Israel and its allies.

Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Monday that soldiers “forcefully threatened any attempt to restore the previously attacked terrorist infrastructure”.

The Israeli army said that “the port serves as a channel of arms used by the Houthis to carry out terrorist operations against Israel and its allies”.

The Houthi movement, which controls large parts of northern Yemen, then claimed the responsibility of drone and missile attacks against places in Israel, including Ben Gurion, Ashdod and Jaffa airport.

In a statement, Houthi’s military spokesman Yahya Saree said strikes were a direct response to the attacks on Hodeidah and the continuous bombing of Israel from Gaza.

“Drone’s attack has successfully achieved its objectives,” he said, adding that operations would continue until Israel puts his offensive on Gaza and raises the headquarters.

Since Israel launched his war against Gaza in October 2023, the Houthis carried out several attacks on shipping routes to the Red Sea, saying that they were acting in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. Israel responded with repeated strikes on Houthi targets, in particular Hodeidah, a key entry point for goods and Yemen help.

“The Houthis will pay a high price for the launch of missiles to the State of Israel,” said Katz.

Earlier this month, the Houthis claimed the responsibility of an attack on the eternity of Greek ships C, which, according to maritime officials, had killed four people.

In May, the United States has negotiated an agreement with the Houthis to stop its bombing campaign in exchange for discounts of attacks on international transport. However, the Houthis said that the agreement did not extend to operations involving Israel.
