At least 115 Palestinians, for most women and children, were killed in a wave of Israeli attacks through the Gaza Strip, deepening an already catastrophic toll after 19 months of relentless bombardment.

This occurs while the Palestinians mark the 77th anniversary of the NAKBA, or disaster, when more than 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled by Zionist paramilitary groups during the creation of Israel in 1948.

At least 61 people were killed during the night and Thursday in an attack barrier against the southern city of Gaza, Khan Younis, according to local health officials. In the North, Israel struck Gaza City and Jabalia.

The Israeli army has also attacked three hospitals in the north and south of Gaza: the Al Awda hospital in Jabalia, the Indonesian hospital in Khan Younis, and the European hospital, which, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, is now out of service.

Tareq Abu Azzoum of Tel Aviv Tribune, postponing Deir El-Balah, described “another bloody day” in Gaza, while Israel intensified its air attacks against residential areas.

“Israeli war aircraft have directly targeted nine houses without warning in the city of Khan Younis,” he said, adding that entire families were “completely wiped out”.

He described the situation as chaotic, civilians fleeing repeated forced evacuation orders. “The Israeli soldiers have targeted civilians during their sleep,” launching 13 air raids on the Jabalia refugee camp and neighboring regions. The civil defense teams, he added, were overwhelmed and have trouble saving people trapped under the rubble, due to a lack of equipment.

Abu Azzoum said that strikes reflect a “model of attacks that did not aim for military targets, but systematically destroying the social tissue of Gaza”.

Thousands of people forced to flee

The latest murders sparked new waves of travel. Thousands of people fled the city of Gaza on Thursday after the Israeli army issued sudden forced evacuation orders the day before.

Hani Mahmoud of Tel Aviv Tribune reported scenes of panic and fear while the residents embarked on their personal effects and tried to escape the expected assault.

“We see families carrying their personal effects and going down the street,” said Mahmoud. “Children and the elderly transport everything they can wear … They don’t know where to go. There is no safe place for these people – the so -called shelters have already been destroyed by Israeli bombs. ”

Addressing Tel Aviv Tribune, the Palestinais moved Hasan Moqbel described the aggression continues as a war against civilians. “They have been bombing Gaza for 19 months. What remains in Gaza? Innocent children die. There is no armed activity here. Most of them are elderly people who die, “he said.

On the broader mood in Gaza on Nakba day, Abu Azzoum said that people were “deeply worried” about the potential expansion of Israeli land operations. “They believe that the Israeli army can force them to flee again – towards new areas where the conditions are even worse.”

Despite international diplomacy, “there is no sign of slowdown on the ground,” he warned.

“Intensive diplomacy”

Elsewhere in the region, President Donald Trump concluded a visit to Qatar on Thursday, where Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani urged the leader of the United States to use his influence to help get a cease-fire in Gaza.

“Our teams are engaged in intensive diplomacy to obtain a cease-fire in Gaza to protect all civilians, especially innocent women and children, and ensure the release of all hostages,” said Al Thani at a state dinner on Wednesday.

“This conflict is the key to broader stability in the region. From the West Bank to Yemen in Lebanon, and the time is short,” said the Qatari chief.

“Mr. President, your involvement could catalyze a breakthrough where others have stalled. But only if it is done in concert with serious partners … The United States provides power, leverage and world weight. If we act together, we have a real grip at the end of the end of bloodshed and the restoration of regional confidence,” he added.

Trump reiterated his radical vision of the future of Gaza on Thursday, suggesting that Washington should take control of the besieged territory.

“I have concepts for Gaza which, I think, are very good, make it an area of freedom, that the United States gets involved and just make it a zone of freedom,” he said.

“I would be proud to make the United States, take it, do it an area of freedom.”

Trump’s comments come while the War of Israel against Gaza continues to degenerate, the enclave suffering from unprecedented destruction levels and civilian victims.

The American special envoy in the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, spoke with the diplomatic editor of Tel Aviv Tribune James Bays this week and “painted a positive table on a Gaza agreement”, with a potential agreement concluded “very soon”.

When asked if Witkoff only referred to helping access – since help is currently completely blocked for the inhabitants of Gaza, without food or medication that enter – or for a ceasefire, he replied: “All this, I am positive about all of this”.

“ We must flatten the West Bank ” ‘

Meanwhile, the Israeli government seems to lay the foundations for a parallel climbing in occupied West Bank.

The Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, a key figure in the far -right coalition of Israel, openly called on military forces to destroy the Palestinian cities and villages in the West Bank, echoing the destruction observed in Gaza.

“Just as we have Rafah, Khan Younis and Gaza, we must flatten the terrorist hubs,” said Smotrich, specifically referring to the Palestinian village of Bruqin, where an Israeli colonist was killed on Wednesday evening.

Thursday, Israeli forces launched new raids through the occupied West Bank at dawn, storming cities and refugee camps, notably Tubas, Naplus, Bethlehem and Dura. Residents of the Qalandiya, Ya’bad, Fawwar and Askar camps have also reported home raids, arrests and rights -defense groups describe as a systematic abuse.

Later in the day, the Israeli soldiers said that he had killed five Palestinians and arrested a sixth who had barricaded himself in a building in Tamoun, about 35 km (22 miles) in Bruqin, following an exchange of fire with soldiers.

With Gaza and the West Bank under aggression on the day of the Nakba, the Palestinians are wondering more and more if part of their homeland will be left intact.
