Israel intensifies strikes in Gaza and Lebanon


A mosque and a school housing displaced people were hit by an Israeli strike in central Gaza this Sunday while Beirut was bombed 30 times during the night from Saturday to Sunday.

Israeli strikes targeted central Gaza this Sunday, hitting a mosque and a school which sheltered displaced people. At least 26 people died in this attack, according to Palestinian authorities.

The IDF assured that the strikes targeted Hamas members who were operating in a command center, without providing further details.

The Israeli army also announced that it had “surrounded”Jabaliya refugee campin the north of the Gaza Strip. According to the civil defense of the Gaza Strip, 17 people including 9 children died in Israeli strikes targeting the area.

Beirut bombed 30 times during the night from Saturday to Sunday

Israel has also intensified its strikes on Lebanonbombing several neighborhoods in the southern suburbs of Beirut 30 times during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Many buildings were destroyed.

Earlier, the Israeli army had called on residents in the area to evacuate the area.

Woman killed, ten injured in attack in Beersheba

A gun and stabbing attack left at least one dead and ten injured this Sunday, October 6 in Beersheba, a city in southern Israel. The deceased was a 25-year-old Israeli police officer.
