On Wednesday, Israel intensified its air strikes on southern Lebanon, resulting in deaths and injuries, while Hezbollah announced that it was attacking Israeli military sites and bases with missiles and drones, confirming direct casualties.

A Lebanese medical source told Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent that 3 people were killed in an Israeli raid on the town of Khiam in southern Lebanon.

Israeli fighters launched a series of raids on the vicinity of the towns of Blida, Al-Adisa, Aita Al-Shaab, Ramia, Yaroun, Kafr Kila, and the areas of Jabal Balat and Jabal Al-Rayhan. Israeli artillery also bombed the vicinity of several border towns.

The Israeli army said that it raided 20 targets in one area in southern Lebanon.

He added that he targeted weapons depots in the Ramia area with artillery. He confirmed that he had completed a series of raids that focused on military buildings and terrorist structures, as he described them.

He explained that he attacked a military building and a Hezbollah facility in Marwahin and Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon.

Swoop marches

For its part, Hezbollah announced that it targeted with a Burkan missile the headquarters of the 91st Division in the Israeli Pranit Barracks and achieved a direct hit.

The party said in a statement that it carried out an attack with assault marches on the headquarters of the newly created Western Brigade in Ya’ra, “and we achieved a direct hit.”

The party also fired two missiles towards the Israeli site of Al-Samaqa in the occupied Kfar Shuba hills in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah bombed the Al-Malikiyah site with guided missiles and artillery, “leaving its members dead and wounded.”

He also announced the targeting of 8 buildings used by occupation soldiers in Metulla, Shlomi, and several areas, and confirmed direct casualties.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the party fired dozens of missiles and drones into the Western Galilee region.

For the seventh month in a row, Hezbollah and Palestinian factions, on the one hand, and Israel, on the other, have exchanged intermittent daily bombardment across the Blue Line, leaving hundreds dead and wounded, most of them in Lebanon.

The escalation erupted in southern Lebanon as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza since October 7, which has so far led to the death and injury of more than 113,000 people, most of them children and women.
