Israel-Hamas war: the Israeli army redeploys its combat brigades in the Gaza Strip


The Israeli army announces the withdrawal of five combat brigades, which are participating in the ground offensive in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Prime Minister is determined to continue the war, despite the catastrophic humanitarian situation.

The Israeli army on Sunday expanded its military offensive throughout the Gaza Strip, at the same time it announced that it will withdraw five combat brigades that participated in the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip. Three other training brigades should also withdraw depending on the situation and the evolution of the fighting.

Israeli Army Radio reported that three training brigades, in addition to the 551st and 14th reserve brigades, will withdraw “in accordance with the assessment of the situation”, will withdraw “according to the assessment of the situation and evolution of the fighting”.

Gaza War Hospital Cemetery

Dozens of displaced Palestinians gathered to eat meals prepared by a food kitchen in Rafah on Sunday.

The war has triggered a humanitarian crisis, with a quarter of the Gaza Strip’s residents at risk of starvation, according to the United Nations.

Only 10% of the food needed by the territory’s 2.2 million residents has entered Gaza in the past 70 days, according to the United Nations
