As the conflict between Israel and Gaza enters its 25th day, here are the main developments.

Latest developments
- Palestinian fighters and Israeli forces are engaged in clashes south of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
- An Israeli ministry has drafted a war proposal aimed at moving the Gaza Strip’s 2.3 million residents to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office downplayed the Intelligence Ministry’s report as a hypothetical exercise, a Hamas spokesperson dismissed the move.
- Egypt will allow 81 Palestinians from Gaza, who were seriously injured during weeks of bombing, to enter the country for full treatment, according to Palestinian border authorities in Gaza. The move came after Egypt condemned the Israeli attack on the Jabalia refugee camp.
Human impact and fighting
- According to Hamas, up to 400 people were killed or injured in the Israeli air raid on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. The health ministry said at least 50 people were killed in the attack which sparked global outrage.
- Israel has recently expanded its ground operations in Gaza, with tanks and infantry engaged in combat with Palestinian fighters around Gaza City in the northern part of the Strip, measuring 10 km by 41 km (6 miles over 25 miles).
- Palestinian Health Ministry spokesperson warned that the main generators at the al-Shifa hospital complex and the Indonesian hospital in Gaza would be hours away from running out of fuel and shutting down completely .
Diplomacy
- Bolivia severed diplomatic relations with Israel to condemn the Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, Minister of the Presidency Maria Nela Prada announced that the country would send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
- Two other Latin American countries – Colombia and Chile – also recalled their ambassadors for consultations aimed at condemning the deaths of civilians in Gaza and calling for a ceasefire. More than 8,500 people, mostly women and children, have been killed in relentless Israeli bombardments since October 7.
- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Israel on Friday for meetings with government officials and then make other stops in the region, according to the State Department.
- Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates issued individual statements denouncing the strikes on the Jabalia camp.
Climbing in the West Bank
- Magdy Zakaria Youssef Awad, 65, a physically disabled man, was killed in the Tulkarem district in the occupied eastern West Bank by Israeli forces, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.
- Israeli forces regularly carry out air raids in the occupied West Bank, notably in the Jenin refugee camp. Three other people have been killed in the West Bank in the past 24 hours, including a 16-year-old.
- Wafa reported that Israeli forces attacked the house in Tulkarem of released prisoner Kassab Zaqout, assaulting him and re-arresting him.
- The death toll in the West Bank has reached 127 since the outbreak of violence on October 7, according to the UN agency OCHA.
