Israel Expands Its Wars, But Is It Any Closer to “Total Victory”? | Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Palestinian politician Mustafa Barghouti says Israel’s plans will fail as long as Palestinians reject occupation.

Despite all the Israeli offensives over the past year – in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and elsewhere – Palestinian politician Mustafa Barghouti believes that Palestinians are closer than ever to their freedom.

Barghouti told host Steve Clemons that Israel cannot achieve “total victory” as long as Palestinians “refuse to give up (or) accept a life of submission or slavery to Israeli occupation.” .

And regardless of anti-Palestinian prejudice and unconditional support for Israel in the West, Barghouti asserts that Israel has “reached a crisis point” and will be seen as a “pariah structure” over time.
