The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation stated that the occupation army destroyed tens of thousands of relief materials that included large quantities of food that were dedicated to the residents of Gaza, amid an unprecedented state of famine in the besieged sector.
The Israeli Authority quoted military sources as saying that wrapped aid includes a thousand trucks of food and medical.
These sources added that “there are thousands of parcels under the sun, and if they are not transferred to Gaza, we will have to destroy it.”
She considered that the destruction of humanitarian materials is caused by a defect in the mechanism of distributing aid in Gaza, according to her claim.
The Israeli army destroyed thousands of tons of aid allocated to Gaza, while the Strip is starving, and the famine is destroyed by its inhabitants, who counted about 2.3 million people.
It also comes amid global demonstrations and calls from political leaders and international organizations to pressure Israel to allow aid to enter the sector and stop its war on Gaza, which has been going on for nearly two years.
During the past few days, many cities of the world have witnessed massive demonstrations to denounce the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and the starvation of its inhabitants, amid increasing calls for an immediate ceasefire, and to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid without restrictions.
In the latest statements condemning the starvation of the residents of the Gaza Strip, the UN Rapporteur involved in the right to food, Michael Fakhry, called for the imposition of sanctions on Israel, stressing that the expressions of denunciation were not sufficient.
He said in an interview with Al -Jazeera, that Israel is hindering the entry of accumulated aid at the border at the sight of the world, stressing that the momentum must continue in the Arab countries to enter aid to Gaza.
