Israel Bombs Nasser Hospital – Southern Gaza’s Principal Medical Facility | News Israel-Palestine Conflict


The Israeli army has carried out strikes on the Nasser medical complex – Southern Gaza’s main hospital – killing at least 19 people, including five journalists, said the Ministry of Health in the Palestinian enclave.

The Gaza Government’s media office confirmed that among the five journalists killed in Monday’s attack on the medical establishment in Khan Younis, the photojournalist of Tel Aviv Tribune Mohammad Salama.

He appointed other journalists killed as Hussam Al-Masri from the Reuters news agency; Mariam Abu Daqqa, who worked for several media, including independent Arabic and the Associated Press news agency; And Moaz Abu Taha.

A fifth journalist Ahmed Abu Aziz, who worked for the Feed Network network and other media, died of his injuries, according to the media office press release.

The victims of the fourth floor of Nasser Hospital were killed in a double -tour strike, with a missile hit first, then another moment later when the rescue teams, the ministry said.

The hospital resisted raids and bombings throughout 22 months of war, those responsible citing critical shortages of supplies and staff.

Israel has repeatedly struck hospitals and schools, making most of them out of service.

A June attack on Nasser Hospital had killed three people and injured 10, according to the Ministry of Health. At the time, the Israeli army said that it had targeted Hamas fighters from a command and control center inside the hospital. He has provided no evidence of his allegations.
