Israeli forces continued to beat Gaza, hitting a busy market and a water distribution point, killing at least 95 Palestinians, because the death toll of the War of Israel against the Enclave succeeded in the dark stage of 58,000.

The Israeli attack on the Gaza city market killed at least 17 people on Sunday, including the eminent doctor Ahmed Qandil, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

In the central refugee camp of Nuseirat, an Israeli missile attack struck a water collection point, killing at least 10 people.

Seven of the victims were children who had laid out to recover the drinking water, according to medical sources. At least 17 others were also injured.

The Israeli army has not yet commented on the strike of the Gaza city market, but said that its attack on Nuseirat was intended for a Palestinian fighter and had deviated due to technical failure.

The Israeli complaint could not be verified independently.

Jessica Dorsey, an international lawyer and assistant professor at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, questioned the claim of Israel, saying that the Israeli army does not take adequate measures to protect civilians in Gaza.

“Errors occur in the war, but at some point, given the civil damage model that we have seen in the past 21 months, you must question by calling this an error, and in fact, questioning their Modus Operandi,” she told Tel Aviv Tribune.

“Especially with this type of advanced capacity they have, we should see more precision, no less responsibility, and unfortunately this is not the case,” she added.

“ Emergency of survival of children ”

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Sunday that the overall death of the War of Israel had now had 58,026 people. More than half of people killed since the start of the war on October 7, 2023 were women and children.

The ministry said that at least 138,500 others were also injured.

The war and the headquarters of Israel also left 2.1 million people in Gaza on the verge of famine, with the United Nations Agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, announcing the death of another malnutrition infant.

The seven -month -old girl, Salam, died while she was treated by UNRWA staff on Sunday, the agency said. The last death occurred one day after the Gaza authorities said that at least 67 children have already died of malnutrition since the start of the War of Israel.

The UN children’s agency, UNICEF, said that more than 5,800 children had been diagnosed with malnutrition in Gaza in June, including more than 1,000 children in a severe state. The figure marks an increase in the fourth consecutive month, said the agency in an article on X.

“The body of children is wasted. It is not only a nutritional crisis. It is an emergency of survival of children,” added the group.

UNICEF and seven other UN agencies have also published a separate joint declaration, warning that Israel’s blockade on the entry of fuel supplies in Gaza threatens to close hospitals, water systems, sanitation networks and ambulances in the band.

In the press release, the agencies, which also included the World Food Program, the World Health Organization and the United Nations Humanitarian Office (OCHA), said that they should perhaps stop their “adequate fuel without fuel” operations.

“This means no health services, no drinking water and no ability to provide help,” said agencies. “Fuel must be allowed to enter Gaza into sufficient quantities and constantly to maintain vital operations.”

The Gaza government’s media office, on the other hand, accused Israel and security entrepreneurs working on aid distribution points to intentionally attack civilians. In a statement, he called the Gaza Humanitarian Gaza sites supported by the United States, “death traps” and describes the situation as “engineering of American sponsorship genocide”.

At least 805 people were killed and 5,250 injured when they have been trying to collect aid since the GHF began to operate in May.

Ceasefire conferences

The efforts to end the war are continuing in the Qatari capital, Doha.

President Donald Trump told journalists that he hoped that talks for a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas will be “straightened” this week.

His Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, was also addressed to journalists, said that he had remained “full of hope” on talks. He said he would meet Qatari mediators on the sidelines of the FIFA club World Cup final in the United States.

The comments came as a proposal supported by the United States for a 60-day ceasefire, remains bogged down in disagreement, the two parties blaming each other for delays.

Addressing Tel Aviv Tribune, the deputy chief of the Palestinian Islamic jihad, Muhammad al-Hindi, said that Israel had resisted to engage in key conditions before going on prisoners.

“We are discussing a framework agreement. It includes three points: ending the assault, withdrawal from Gaza and distribution of safe aid, “he said. “Israel wants to go directly to prisoners’ file without guarantee on the main problems.”

Al-Hindi accused Israel of seeking to control the southern city of Rafah and to force civilians to overcrowded areas and bombed under the cover of the distribution of aid.

“We cannot legitimize these helping traps that kill our people. Resistance will not sign any agreement that amounts to surrender,” he said.

Meanwhile, in Israel, the prosecutor General Gali Baharav-Miara said that the close advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Jonatan Urich, faced a possible indictment concerning the allegations he disclosed with classified military information in the German newspaper Bild.

Urich and another assistant are accused of having transmitted secret information to influence public opinion after the death of six Israeli captives in Gaza last August. Deaths sparked mass demonstrations in Israel and deepened public anger at the management of government’s efforts by the government.

Netanyahu rejected the investigation as a political motivation, calling it “witch hunt”. Urich denied any reprehensible act.

Bild’s article, published shortly after the discovery of the bodies of the captives, was closely aligned with Netanyahu’s story to blame Hamas for the collapse of the previous cease-fire talks.

A truce of two previous months, which began in January, saw the release of 38 captives before Israel broke the ceasefire and resumed its devastating military assault.
