Israel launched air attacks on Gaza, killing around 90 Palestinians, as the United States blocked a fourth Gaza ceasefire resolution at the UN Security Council. The same night, US senators rejected a bill to prevent the flow of American weapons to Israel, as the death toll in Gaza passed 44,000 people.
