On Tuesday, the Israeli army acknowledged the killing of an officer and a soldier from the “Yahlom” Special Tasks Unit of the Engineering Corps, which specializes in tunnel warfare, in battles in the northern Gaza Strip, without adding further details about their deaths.

This comes after the occupation army announced yesterday, Monday, the killing of 7 of its soldiers in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of its deaths since the start of the ground operation in Gaza to 137, according to Israeli figures.

Thus, the death toll of the Israeli army since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 has risen to 463 dead, including soldiers and officers.

The occupation army’s losses have increased over the past few days with the intensification of battles with Palestinian resistance factions on the Gaza Strip frontiers.

The Israeli media reported that the number of Israeli army personnel injured in the Gaza battles and those in hospitals was more than the numbers announced by the Israeli military media.

On the other hand, in the past few days, the resistance announced a series of operations and attacks targeting tanks and vehicles of the occupation army and its foot forces holed up in residential buildings, injuring them directly in the north and south of the Gaza Strip.

In turn, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Ubaida confirmed in a number of his periodic statements that the numbers of deaths and injuries officially announced by the occupation army are “unreal,” and that the numbers are much higher.

The Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip continues for the 74th day, leaving more than 19,453 martyrs and 52,286 injured, while the resistance is waging fierce battles with the occupation forces in various axes of the Strip.
