The Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday morning that an officer and a soldier were killed and two officers and three soldiers were seriously injured in the battles taking place in the north and south of the Gaza Strip.
Yesterday, Saturday, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast scenes of a qualitative operation carried out the day before yesterday, Friday, where it said that its fighters had eliminated 10 Israeli soldiers in Juhr al-Dik, east of the central region.
Yesterday, the Israeli Channel 12 said that 20 soldiers were killed in the battles of Shujaiya during the last week alone, while the Israeli army also announced that 35 soldiers were injured during the last 24 hours.
The day before yesterday, Friday, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Ubaida said that Al-Qassam fighters were able in the last five days to target more than 100 Israeli military vehicles.
With the fierce fighting taking place in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army is suffering heavy losses, and it was announced that the number of its dead as of last Thursday had reached 445 soldiers, including 119 officers, i.e. approximately 27% of the number of soldiers killed.
On the other hand, Abu Ubaida stressed that the numbers of deaths and injuries officially announced by the Israeli occupation army are not true, and that “what we see disintegrating is the enemy’s army, not the Qassam Brigades.”
This comes on the 72nd day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and the occupation army continues to bomb various areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving so far 18,800 martyrs and 51,000 injured, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction of residential buildings, vital facilities, and hospitals.
