Israel announces that 5 soldiers were seriously injured in the battles of Lebanon and Gaza news


The Israeli army announced today, Friday, that five soldiers were seriously injured in fierce clashes during the past 24 hours in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

A statement issued by the army said that 3 soldiers from the Magellan unit were seriously injured during battles in southern Lebanon on Thursday evening.

The statement added that a reserve officer from the Golani Brigade’s operational support unit was also seriously injured in a confrontation (with Hezbollah) on the Lebanese border, on Thursday evening.

In the Gaza Strip, a soldier from the Rotem Battalion, in the Givati ​​Brigade, was seriously injured today, Friday, during a battle that took place in the northern Gaza Strip, according to the same statement.

The statement indicated that all injured soldiers were transferred to receive medical treatment.

Thus, the number of those injured in the ranks of the Israeli army since October 7, 2023, has risen to 4,945, including 742 seriously injured, in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and the northern front, according to official data.

According to observers, Israel is concealing the human and material losses resulting from its aggression against the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. It prevents photography and the circulation of photos and video clips, and warns against providing any information to media outlets in this regard, except through media outlets subject to its strict control.

The ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip for more than a year led to the death and injury of more than 142,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing persons, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.
