Israel admits more losses and is forced to supply its soldiers by air in Khan Yunis News

The Israeli army announced more losses among its ranks with the intensification of battles with the Palestinian resistance in several areas in the Gaza Strip, where it was forced to carry out parachute landings to deliver supplies to its soldiers, while the Qassam Brigades bombed the city of Tel Aviv and its suburbs with batches of missiles.

On Monday, the army acknowledged the killing of 7 soldiers, including 5 officers, during the fighting in the Gaza Strip yesterday, bringing the number of its deaths since the start of the ground operation to about 110.

This brings the total number of dead officers and soldiers whose names the Israeli army allowed to be published to 433 since the Palestinian resistance launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on the seventh of last October.

Parachuting

On the other hand, the Israeli army said that it carried out an airdrop of military supplies for its soldiers in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

He explained in a statement, “During the past few days, a logistical supply operation was carried out, which included dropping about 7 tons of supplies for hundreds of soldiers currently fighting in Khan Yunis.” He added that the operation was carried out by parachuting from a Samson aircraft.

The statement quoted an Israeli officer as saying that the 98th Division knows how to provide supplies “when you have no way to reach the forces by land.” The statement indicated that this is the first airdrop of this type since the Lebanon War in 2006.

Fierce battles are currently taking place between the Palestinian resistance and Israeli forces in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, as well as in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and in Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.

Evacuation of the wounded

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent in the Gaza Strip monitored Israeli military helicopters transporting a number of wounded soldiers in the ongoing battles in Shuja’iya and Jabalia.

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it was engaged in violent clashes from point zero with special forces and an armored force west of the Jabalia camp.

Al-Qassam also stated that it targeted a special force that barricaded itself in a residential building in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip with TPG shells, confirming that the force’s members were killed or wounded.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, Al-Qassam said that it bombed with mortar shells Israeli forces penetrating the station area in the city of Khan Yunis, and also targeted two Merkava tanks with “Al-Yassin 105” shells north of the city of Khan Yunis.

At the same time, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that they bombed with heavy-caliber mortar shells crowds of occupation soldiers in the Juhr al-Dik area, east of the central region of the Gaza Strip, as well as in the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City.

In the Shujaiya axis, the Al-Quds Brigades confirmed the killing and wounding of all individuals in an Israeli military vehicle that the fighters blew up.

Bombing of Tel Aviv

On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades bombed the city of Tel Aviv and its suburbs with batches of missiles, despite the continuation of the war on Gaza for the 66th day.

The Israeli ambulance announced that an injury was reported by shrapnel from a missile that fell in the city of Holon, south of Tel Aviv.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that sirens sounded in Greater Tel Aviv and all areas extending south of it, and in the coastal plain.

The Israeli army said that it had detected the launching of a large batch of missiles towards the Tel Aviv area and the coastal plain.
