The Israeli army announced on Thursday morning that two officers and a soldier were killed in the battles in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of those killed to 501 since the Al-Aqsa flood on October 7th.
The army said that the three soldiers were killed last night in battles in the central and southern Gaza Strip, while three others were seriously injured.
During the past 48 hours, the Israeli army published the names of 11 of its officers and soldiers killed, bringing the total number to 173 dead since the start of its ground attack on Gaza on October 27.
Meanwhile, Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem received 20 soldiers wounded by the Israeli army who fell in Gaza during the past two days.
Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem also announced that it received 8 injured soldiers during the last 48 hours who were transported from Gaza by military helicopters.
Fierce battles
For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced this morning that its fighters targeted an Israeli bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, where the occupation forces have been trying to penetrate this axis for two days.
At the same time, the Al-Qassam Brigades are fighting fierce battles in Khan Yunis, and yesterday, Wednesday, Tel Aviv Tribune obtained scenes documenting some of those battles, which included the destruction of tanks and the targeting of officers and soldiers.
The Israeli army also broadcast pictures of the fighting in Khan Yunis, and said that a commando unit of its forces worked during the past two weeks deep into the city, and that it continues to deepen its military activity in cooperation with the engineering, armored and air force forces.
Since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which, as of Wednesday, left 21,110 martyrs and 55,243 wounded, according to data from the Ministry of Health in the Strip, and most of the martyrs and wounded were women and children.
