Israeli and American media reported at dawn today, Friday, that the mini cabinet approved the proposal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, despite the opposition shown by the army leadership.
The Yisrael Hume newspaper said that the Ministerial Council agreed to the Netanyahu proposal to occupy the Gaza Strip after 10 hours of discussions.
The Jerusalem Post also reported an affirmation of the approval of the Gaza occupation plan.
