In the midst of the escalation of popular anger towards the positions of the West on the aggression on Gaza, a video clip in which activists claimed to document the expulsion of British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer from a restaurant in Ireland appeared in protest against his support for Israel, but the verification reveals a completely different story.
And the video clip – Tuesday, July 22, spread on social media platforms, and was attached to an exciting comment: “A legendary Irish man expels the British Prime Minister in support of Israel from his restaurant.”
Wide -spreading publications linked the incident with Starmer’s support for Israel in its recent war on Gaza, and achieved hundreds of thousands of views within hours.

In the context, the Sanad news agency for the Al -Jazeera network conducted a video review, and it was found that it is old and misleading, as the incident dates back to 2021, and it occurred in the city of Bath, southwest of England, and not in Ireland as promoted.
According to British press reports at the time, the leader of the Labor Party, Kiir Starmer, was expelled from a bar called “The Raven” during an electoral tour, due to the anger of the barrier of the party from the party’s positions regarding the general closure associated with the Koruna’s pandemic, and no reason related to Palestine or Israel.
