300 kg of cocaine from a Maltese cereal grower: two Bulgarians prosecuted.
Irish authorities are pursuing two Bulgarian nationals in connection with the discovery of 300 kilos of cocaine on a cereal truck registered in Malta.
The two men appeared in court in Limerick, on the west coast of Ireland, about 50 kilometers from the port where the ship was searched.
Customs officers took three days to find where the drugs were hidden on board the grain ship.
The value of the cargo is estimated at 21 million euros.
Irish police have released four of the six suspects initially arrested.
